House Rules

Welcome to NOEMA Palm Springs!

Before you settle in, let’s get you familiar with a few important rules.

  • Check-in time is 4PM, and checkout is 11 AM. Early check-in/late check-out may be available for an additional fee. Please don't hesitate to ask us if interested.

  • Optional pool heating is recommended from Oct to April (additional $75 per day). SPA heat is included with your rental.

CITY OF PALM SPRINGS REGULATIONS & RENTAL RULES (we don't make the rules, but we do follow them!)

Neighbors have been notified this property is a vacation rental and are encouraged to call a hotline to dispatch authorities to investigate any disturbances. If violations incur, guests can be fined and/or evicted. If guests violate the city rules and a fine is imposed, the guest will be responsible for the payment of the fine.

- Minimum age for primary renting guest is 25.

- Daytime occupancy is 12 people. 

- Overnight occupancy is 8 people.

- Maximum of three vehicles allowed. Please utilize driveway parking before using street parking.

- No parties are allowed.

- The City imposes a strict noise ordinance for vacation rentals. No music is allowed outside at any time, including music coming from inside that can be heard at the property line, and no noise at all is allowed outside after 10pm.

- The City requires a signed written contract for all guests, as well as a copy of the primary renter's government ID. This will be taken care of during check-in.

- The City requires each guest to pay an 11.5% Transient Occupancy Tax and a 1% Tourism Business Improvement District assessment for stays less than 28 days. If your stay is 28 days or more, taxes do not need to be paid.


ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE

- Check-in time is 4PM, and check-out is promptly by 11AM.

- Our onsite greeter will meet you at the home and give you a tour.

- Early check-in/late check-out may be available upon request.

- Late check-outs without prior approval with incur a $250 fee, as we need time to get the house ready for the next guest.

- With advanced notice, pre-arrival groceries can be scheduled for an additional fee.

POOL HEATING

- Optional pool heating is recommended from October to April for an additional fee of $75 per day.

- The pool heat must be turned on for the duration of your stay

- Spa heat is included in your rental.’

POOL SERVICE & GARDENER

- The pool is serviced twice per week, on Monday and Thursday. Note, our pool maintenance crew will enter the back yard without notice.

- The gardener crew performs service on Tuesdays. They will access the back yard and front courtyard, with no notice. Please be advised that this cannot be rescheduled as our landscaped areas require weekly service to maintain.


PETS

No pets are allowed. Any sign of pets on the property will incur an additional $250 fee.


PARKING

- The City allows a maximum of three vehicles for our property.

- Please utilize the garage parking first (1 car) followed by driveway parking before using street parking.

- Never block the sidewalk, typically police gets notified immediately if a sidewalk is blocked in the neighborhood.


SMOKING

This is a non-smoking home. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the property. If you want to smoke, you may only smoke outside. Please dispose cigarette butts properly. You will be responsible for the cost of Smoke Remediation. This home will be inspected for evidence of smoking or smoke damage immediately after your stay. An automatic Smoke Remediation Fee (a minimum of $1,000) will be charged to the Occupant’s credit card or withheld from the security deposit, if any damage or smoke odor exists in the home; this includes the results of smoke wafting into the house through open doors and windows.
